Full Stack Backend Developer

Build the APIs, workflows and product surfaces that keep local orders moving from shop to doorstep.

The role

You will work across backend services and the interfaces that operate them. The role combines thoughtful API design, reliable data models and a willingness to improve the customer and operator experience end to end.

What you’ll do

✦Design and build secure APIs and backend workflows for ordering and delivery.
✦Develop clear, accessible product interfaces with the frontend team.
✦Improve reliability, observability, performance and developer experience.
✦Collaborate with product, operations and design to ship in small, useful increments.

What you bring

✦Professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js and relational databases.
✦Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, background jobs and integrations.
✦Experience building frontend interfaces with React or a similar framework.
✦Care for testing, maintainability, security and real-world edge cases.

Nice to have

✦Experience with Next.js, PostgreSQL, payments or logistics workflows.
✦Experience working in an early-stage or high-ownership environment.
